This passive Mini SAS slot bracket adapter with low profile height (as usual in 2U servers) connects an internal 36pin Mini SAS connector (SFF-8087) to an external 26pin Mini SAS connector (SFF-8088). The adapter can be operated in PC housings with low-profile slot openings - these are mainly server housings with 2U. For the internal connection of the adapter with the SAS Controller we offer optional corresponding cables.
In combination with our external SAS cases one can realize very flexible external storage solutions - for example external SAS streamers or hard disk RAID systems in the external case.
