The "Emu A8 PRO" is a professional and quiet running 1U IPC system based on a quad-core Celeron processor (intel Celeron J1900 with 4 x 1,6GHz) - designed for 24/7 operation. It combines an energy-efficient design with high performance and versatile application possibilities in a very compact 1U housing with only 25cm length. The good compatibility with different Linux distributions predestines this device especially for the use with a corresponding operating system - although Windows operating systems can of course also be installed without problems. The ventilation of the system works very quietly, so that the device is almost inaudible during operation.
The system is built by us on the basis of high-quality components by SuperMicro. In addition to their high quality, robustness and durability, these components are characterized by a long product life cycle, which guarantees long-term availability. For this product, we are currently assuming availability until 2020.
The ultra-compact device with a length of only 250mm combines a SuperMicro X10SBA-L motherboard with passively cooled Quad-Core intel Celeron J1900 processor and - in the basic version - 4GB Kingston DDR3L-1600 RAM (8GB DDR3L max.). Besides the two Gigabit LAN ports (with intel I210-AT chipset), the motherboard also offers an onboard graphics card with HDMI, Displayport and D-Sub ports, two internal SATA ports (2 x SATA-300) and four internal serial ports (COM ports). A PCI-E x2 slot (mechanically designed as PCI-E x8 slot) can be used to expand the system via an optional riser card.
The high-quality 1U housing with 200W SuperMicro FlexATX power supply and 80 PLUS GOLD certification provides a robust platform - even for use under harsh environmental conditions. Up to two 2.5" SSD´s (alternatively 2.5" HDD´s) can be integrated into the system. Please select your desired configuration from the options listed below.
The complete system is subjected to an extensive test by us before delivery. In addition to the server system, the scope of delivery includes the complete mainboard accessories, two matching short SATA connection cables, a blue power cable and a set of small parts. The system is provided without operating system.
